1. Eligibility:

• The CinefestOZ Albany Film Festival competition (“Staycation Competition”) is open to all individuals who purchase tickets for any event on the CinefestOZ Film Festival website during the specified competition period.
• Participants must be at least 18 years of age or older to be eligible to enter the competition.

2. Entry Period:

• The competition period begins on 22/03/2024 and ends on 05/04/2024. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

3. How to Enter:

• To enter the competition, participants must purchase a ticket for any event available on the CinefestOZ Film Festival website during the competition period.
• Each ticket purchase will count as one entry into the competition.

4. Prize:

• One (1) winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries received during the competition period.
• The prize includes a three (3) night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn, and two (2) tickets to every other event of the winner’s choice during the CinefestOZ Film Festival.
• The prize does not include travel expenses, meals, or any other incidental expenses not expressly stated herein.

5. Winner Selection:

• The winner will be selected by a random draw conducted by CinefestOZ Film Festival organizers within two (2) days after the competition closing date.
• The winner will be notified via the email address provided during the ticket purchase process. If the winner does not respond within  24 hours of the notification, an alternate winner may be selected.

6. Prize Redemption:

• The winner may be required to provide proof of identity and ticket purchase to claim the prize.
• The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

7. Publicity:

• By entering the competition, participants consent to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

8. Limitation of Liability:

• CinefestOZ Film Festival and its affiliates, partners, and sponsors are not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by participants in connection with the competition or the prize.

9. Modification or Cancellation:

• CinefestOZ Film Festival reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time for any reason, including but not limited to technical issues, fraud, or force majeure events.

 

By participating in the competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
