Award-winning film Hounds Of Love not to be missed

Don’t miss West Australian writer-director Ben Young’s award-winning first feature, Hounds Of Love, which stars Stephen Curry and CinefestOZ Friend of the Festival Emma Booth, when it rolls into Luna Leederville this May and June.

Set in Perth in 1987, Hounds Of Love is a drama-thriller set in an era when the city still didn’t lock its doors at night. The film delves into the now staple of Australian film: unsuspected violence behind ordinary suburban doors.

John (Stephen Curry) and Evelyn (Emma Booth) look ordinary enough, if a bit rough; nobody guesses what goes on behind closed doors.

The award-winning first feature by Perth writer-director Ben Young, stars knockout performances by Australia’s most exciting female talents Ashleigh Cummings and Emma Booth, with an outstanding and unlikely turn by Stephen Curry.

With the Australian premiere red carpet screening at Luna on May 18 already sold out, the cinema has added an additional Q&A screening featuring special guest and lead actor Stephen Curry on Friday May 19.
