Cal McLean is an award-winning screenwriter, editor, and director from Perth, Western Australia. In 2020, he received awards for Excellence in Editing and Student of the Year at the WA Screen Academy. He also received the award for Best Editing (World Competition) at the Seattle Film Festival for his work on It’s Not You, a short film he also wrote. He has worked on numerous successful productions including Hash Browns, Mettle, It’s Not You, Pacing the Pool, and Hug the Sun.
