Christie is an Australian student filmmaker with a focus on character-driven, feminist narratives. She has 4 years of experience making short films, documentaries and TV productions. Christie is in her final year of University, undertaking a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in screen. In making (Not So) Great Expectations Christie had the pleasure of talking to many women of Indian heritage and hearing their stories. It is their stories you see on screen and and their voices which make this film feel so alive.
