Clarence Ryan will next be seen in Kurt Martin’s feature film MOON ROCK FOR MONDAY. He most recently appeared in the six part series STATELESS for ABC, the third season of the Network Seven drama WANTED, and the ABC comedy series KGB.

In 2007, he starred opposite Mia Wasikowska in the inaugural Tropfest feature film, SEPTEMBER, directed by Peter Carstairs.  Clarence’s performance as ‘Paddy’ in the film earned him an AFI Young Actor Award nomination.  His other feature film credits are THE DECADENT AND DEPRAVED and OTHERLIFE which premiered at the 2017 Sydney Film Festival.  His short film credits include KILLER NATIVE which premiered at the 2019 Sydney Film Festival, JADAI, BETWEEN TWO LINES, BLIGHT, BOURKE BOY, YOU’LL DO and THE TENDER DARK.

Clarence’s other television credits include Stan’s series WOLF CREEK, the second season of CLEVERMAN for ABC and Sundance TV, and the critically acclaimed and International Emmy nominated series THE WRONG KIND OF BLACK for the ABC, which earned him the Best Actor Award in an International Narrative at the New Zealand Web Festival. His other television credits include THE SECRET RIVER and ANZAC GIRLS for the ABC, the Canadian/Australian sci-fi series STORMWORLD, DEAD GORGEOUS, the ABC/HBO co-production SERANGOON ROAD, ABC documentary YAGAN and the award winning children’s series LOCKIE LEONARD.

Clarence won Best Newcomer and was nominated for Best Actor at the Performing Arts of Western Australia Awards for his performance in the Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company’s KING HIT.
