Mimi Helm is a WA based, German-born writer and director. Her directing work includes web series, short films, music video, book trailers and short plays. She particularly enjoys exploring themes of family dynamics and female sexuality through a comedic lens. In 2018, she directed two episodes of Screenwest funded web series Single Ladies, which screened at a variety of international festivals and won “Best Comedy” and “Best Cinematography” at Apulia Webfest and Sicily Webfest respectively.
