Eve Beck is a director for theatre and screen.. She is interested in presenting work that explores contemporary feminism, politics and challenging class structures in Australia and is continually seeking to experiment with form. Eve has directed theatre works at venues including; NIDA, Theatreworks (Melbourne), Kings X Theatre, The Old 505 Theatre, The Giant Dwarf, Perth Fringe Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival and Bondi Feast. She has also directed two short films for independent production houses and a music video for Melbourne Hip Hop artist IJALE, to be premiered on ABC’s Rage. Eve holds a BA in Communications (Theatre/Media) from Charles Sturt University and a MFA (Directing) from The National Institute of Dramatic Arts. She was shortlisted for the Rose Byrne Female Leadership Scholarship in 2020 and is currently a selected fellow for the Incubator program with Griffin Theatre Company.
