Jackson Tozer is a multi-award winning Actor, Writer and Director based in Melbourne Australia. He got his start writing and performing for the ABC2 sketch series THIS IS LITTLETON (2014). His current project HATCHBACK (co starring Stephen Curry) had its world premiere at the St Kilda Film Festival opening night. Jackson has played a multitude of characters on both Australian and international TV. With recurring roles in FIVE BEDROOMS (Paramount+), THE NEWSREADER (ABC), MR INBETWEEN (FX), ROSTERED ON (Netflix) THE EX-PM (ABC). Jacksons work in feature films has seen him play Len Mancini in the 2016 feature JOE CINQUE’S CONSOLATION. The Australian film screened at both the Melbourne and the Toronto International Film Festival. He also received praise for his lead role in the 2016 Independent film LAZYBONES, “Tozer’s performance as the sweet and funny Ben is effortlessly brilliant and arguably award worthy.” – Mathew Eeles, Cinema Australia. He continues to write, produce and direct his own independent work. Varying from short films like UBER X-CITING DAY (Best Screenplay, Peninsula Film Festival), THE DIVORCE (Best Comedy, Best Screenplay, Hollywood Indie film Awards), to directing (alongside Ryan Chamely and Michala Banas ) on the new Screen Australia funded web series COUNTER GIRLS.
