A NIDA trained actor who works in theatre, film, television and voice over and is currently based in Perth Western Australia, where she is completing a PhD. Emily most recently appeared in the feature film How To Please A Woman, and the Black Swan Theatre Company’s production of The Cherry Orchard. Over the years she has appeared in multiple television programs, most notably Underbelly Razor, The Legend of Gavin Tanner and :30 Seconds. Emily has also toured Australia with the Bell Shakespeare and has performed at the Opera House in several shows including The Torrents for Black Swan Theatre Company in 2019.
In 2019 Emily had the pleasure of playing Stevie in Homespun. To take part in a project helmed by a strong, creative woman, Bec Bignell, and directed by Socratis Otto – who put such passion and time into coaching nuanced and detail oriented performances from the cast – was both a challenging and inspiring experience. It is an honour to be part of a production that focuses on the lives of regional Western Australian people and the tough but beautiful Western Australian regional landscape.
