Tina Fielding has been wanting to write and make films for 15 years and in 2008, hand-delivered one of her screenplays to Universal Studios. Tina is 39 years old, identifies asliving with a disability and is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. In 2018, Tina began to work with Emerging Director Jacqueline Pelczar as a mentor to develop a short screenplay,Sparkles, which became successfully funded by Screenwest, Western Australia’s premium funding body, through their Elevate70 program. Within the past four years, Tina has beenan active member within the Living Disability Arts Community, participating in The Other Film Festival on a panel discussion, hosted by Ross Graysen Bell (Producer – Fight Club,Under Suspicion) and supported by DADDA and Screenwest. She has performed with the Black Swan Theatre Company, Poles Apart Community Theatre, and made her debutscreen appearance in her very own film she wrote and co-produced, “SPARKLES”. Tina is a passionate advocate for Diversity within the arts and in a very short time has fast becomeone to watch!
