The Cinesnaps Filmmaking Masterclass is an opportunity for High School students and media teachers to develop filmmaking skills and work on ideas for the annual Cinesnaps Short Film Competition. This is a unique workshop in which students and teachers alike can learn from accomplished Australian Film industry professionals.
The 2017 Masterclass, which runs on March 14 in Busselton and March 15 in Bunbury, will be hosted by FTI’s Roslyn Walker and WA filmmaker Stevie Cruz-Martin, with insight into directing actors and cinematography. Last year Stevie’s feature debut Pulse screened at CinefestOZ, so there’s no doubt she will have much to pass on at the workshops. Who knows, perhaps there will be a few future Bruce Beresfords and Gillian Armstrongs in the room?
