Cinepass Terms and Conditions

Platinum Pass 

  1. Once purchased, passes may be transferred to another person no later than Monday 12 August. Passes may not be shared. 
  2. Each pass is eligible for 1 ticket per session only, subject to availability 
  3. Passes are also valid for general screening tickets which can be chosen from any general screenings. Official Selection screenings will be available to add to your pass from July. These must be booked to the pass to guarantee a seat. 
  4. Passes will be issued as physical items, and will be available for collection the week of CinefestOZ.  The pass should be taken to all events and screenings for scanning. You will not receive a ticket for each session redeemed. 
  5. We recommend booking your sessions online prior to CinefestOZ to secure a seat. Each pass you buy will generate a unique 7-digit serial number (found on the receipt). You will need this number to book your sessions. 
  6. Bus transport to the Opening Night and Film Prize Celebration night after parties is Included, and to all In Conversation Events 
  7. Please email [email protected] if you are unable to attend any previously booked events or sessions. 

Use your pass online: 

  • Find the session you wish to attend. In the pricing section you’ll see the heading “Code”. Enter your 7-digit pass number and click Validate. You can then add $0.00 tickets to your Cart. Repeat for all sessions you’d like to attend. Then Checkout! 
  • Redeeming onto your pass is free No additional costs apply once the pass has been purchased.  
  • Don’t forget to bring your pass with you on the day.

Multi Pass 

  1. Multi-passes are not transferable.  
  2. Multi-passes exclude special events (ie Opening Night, Premiere Events, Gala Night, short film events, In Conversation Events, Industry events and special screenings) 
  3. Multi-passes are valid for all general screenings including those with guest appearances. 
  4. Multi-passes are electronic. You will receive a ticket for each session redeemed. 
  5. We recommend booking your sessions online prior to the festival to secure tickets. 
  6. Each Multi-pass you buy will generate a unique 7-digit serial number (found on the receipt). You will need this number to book tickets. 

Use your pass online: 

  • Find the session you wish to attend. In the pricing section you’ll see the heading “Code”. Enter your 7-digit pass number and click Validate. You can then add $0.00 tickets to your Cart. 
  • Repeat for all sessions you’d like to attend. Then Checkout.  
  • Redeeming onto your pass is free. No additional costs apply once the pass has been purchased.  

 

Industry Passes

  1. Once purchased, passes may be transferred to another person no later than Monday 19 August. Passes may not be shared.
  2. Each pass is eligible for 1 ticket per session only, subject to availability
  3. Passes will be issued as physical items, and will be available for collection the week of CinefestOZ.  The pass should be taken to all events and screenings for scanning.
  4. Please email [email protected] if you are unable to attend any previously booked events or sessions.

This pass is also valid for 3 general screening tickets which can be chosen from any general screenings at Orana Cinemas. General screenings will be available to add to your pass from July. These must be pre-booked to the pass to guarantee a seat.

This pass is also valid for 3 general screening tickets which can be chosen from any general screenings at Orana Cinemas. General screenings will be available to add to your pass from July. These must be pre-booked to the pass to guarantee a seat.

Please note that you will be asked to show Student ID at the festival, and will require parental supervision to attend the Sundowner Event if you are under 18.
