The Power of Sound
Sound is a crucial element of films which can sometimes be underestimated. So what things do you need to listen out for before even pressing record? And what sounds help to set the scene for us?
After a brief overview of sound recording, in this session students will look into ambient sound particularly. They will spend time considering a location and all the important sounds that make up their chosen place before sourcing the sound effects online to create a soundscape of their own.
