The prestigious $100,000 CinefestOZ Film Prize Event is Australia’s largest annual film prize dedicated to celebrating the very best in home-grown Australian filmmaking and storytelling.
Four Film Prize Finalist films make their Western Australian Premiere at CinefestOZ. Each title hosts a glamorous red carpet screening and afterparty – plus exclusive post-screening live in-conversations with the filmmakers, cast and crew.
A distinguished and high-profile Jury Panel composed of internationally celebrated screen industry leaders select the winning film. The winner is revealed at the festival’s exclusive Film Prize Gala on Sat 5 Sep 2026.
