Movie Crew Induction Night

New date: We’ve moved the induction so more Movie Crew members can attend.
Join us for your Movie Crew Induction and get festival-ready! We’ll run through everything you need to know, including the roster, collect your uniform, enjoy drinks and light snacks, and meet your fellow Movie Crew volunteers and the team behind CinefestOZ.
Following the induction, we’ll launch the official 2026 Movie Crew group chat to keep everyone connected throughout the festival.
CinefestOZ Film Festival depends on a dedicated group of volunteers known as the ‘Movie Crew’. These volunteers are the face of the festival, playing key roles to ensure an amazing experience for all.
Each year, over 200 volunteers from Perth, Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, and Augusta come together to make the festival a success. Many return year after year, proudly wearing the CinefestOZ shirt, red berets with golden stars, which represent each year of volunteering.
Cinema Crew – Be the face of the festival! Greet moviegoers, scan tickets, and help turn the cinema between screenings.
Event Crew – Help bring special events to life! Assist with setup, coordination, and making every event unforgettable.
Bar Attendants (18+) – Serve up the fun with a valid RSA.
VIP Drivers – Drive in style! Previous experience with CinefestOZ driving is preferred.
Hospitality Crew – Ensure our guests have an amazing experience with top-notch hospitality.
Festival Promoters – Spread the word! Distribute festival information and help get the buzz going.
Bump In, Bump Out – Be part of the action behind the scenes! Assist with setup and pack-up (runners).
Admin Support – Get involved behind the scenes in the office, helping with all things admin-related.
