CinefestOZ proudly presents a wide variety of Australian short films to our audiences. 2020 will see the return of the short film program, with Short Film events across the South West region screening the best short films on offer.

Short Film Online Entry Form

These West Australian, Australian and French short films are curated into sets and shown at lively locales in Busselton, Bunbury, Margaret River and surrounds. The short film screenings showcase WA and Australia’s filmmaking talent along interactive discussions with filmmakers.

CinefestOZ accepts entries for two categories;

Open to filmmakers across the country, for all short films under 40 minutes in length.

Filmmakers of the Future
Open to emerging Western Australian filmmakers aged 18 to 25. CinefestOZ is proud to support young filmmakers as they work towards a career in filmmaking.

Indigenous filmmakers are encouraged to enter both categories. Please get in touch if you’re interested in submitting any VR and AR content into either category.
