Gala Night offers the glamour, drama and spectacle you would expect from this award-winning festival’s premium evening event.
It combines red carpet action and interviews, the cream of Australia’s filmmaking talent on stage, a sample of our best Australian film shorts, the awarding of a high profile Screen Legend and, as a highlight of the night, the awarding of the highly coveted $100,000 CinefestOZ Film Prize. Filmmakers, VIP guests and audiences are in the audience for this very moment.
Continuing on from our 2020 delivery, we have a LIVE online streaming link for those wishing to be part of the festivities from the comforts of their home. Watch as the creators of our wonderful Film Prize Finalists walk the Red Carpet alongside other distinguished industry professionals.
Action from the crimson rug will see audiences welcomed from 5pm into the Orana Cinemas foyer for a pre-screening function, before our VIP guests walk the red carpet, followed by our 2021 Jury at 7pm. Set up online and be there with us as we hear from some of the incredible film talent in Western Australia.
