CinefestOZ Business Services Manager plays an important role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting, budget development, contracting and analysis and compliance with the law. The role oversees the everyday bookkeeping and accounts requirements of the small CinefestOZ office, issuing and paying invoices along with payroll, maintaining financial processes and reporting internally and externally in association with the CinefestOZ CEO and Board’s treasurer. The role also oversees business affairs, including contract management, human resources administration, insurance, risk management (with the Operations Manager), and compliance with employment and workplace policies, helping to ensure the organisation operates smoothly and sustainably across all areas of its operations.
This is a 12 month fixed term part-time role equaling to around 2 days a week, with possible permanency. CinefestOZ has an office in Busselton with a fixed fortnightly team meeting, outside of this, flexible working arrangements are welcome including working spilt days and from home regularly.

Business Services Manager Job DescriptionCinefestOZ is seeking an experienced and versatile marketing professional to lead audience engagement, drive ticket sales, and maintain a strong, cohesive brand presence year-round. This role drives strategy and is part of the management team supports the planning and delivery of our core festival and associated programs.
The position manages advertising budgets to ensure effective campaign reach, oversees sales initiatives, and digital content strategy. It also works closely with the ticketing team to maximise sales opportunities.
A key part of the role involves building and maintaining relationships with media and regional stakeholders (including MRBTA, Bunbury Geographe, Australia’s South West) to leverage promotional and ticketing partnerships. The Marketing and Digital Engagement Manager also enhances the customer journey across digital touchpoints, from website and SEO to box office systems implementing strategies that incentivise audience engagement, increase the festival profile and boost sales.
While the ideal candidate would be a marketing “unicorn,” skilled across branding, social media, design, publicity, sales, and digital campaigns, we know that’s a rare find! Instead, CinefestOZ will assess the broader marketing needs of the organisation and build complementary skills around the successful applicant..

- Website/ digital integrations
This is a fixed term part-time role equaling to around 3 days a week with hours and pay rising to full time during Festival periods, with possible permanency. CinefestOZ has an office in Busselton with a fixed fortnightly team meeting and Tuesday pivot days. Hybrid working arrangements are welcome including working spilt days and from home regularly.

This exciting role plays a key part in bringing CinefestOZ’s vision to life, supporting the delivery of our new On the Road program and the curation of diverse, high-quality, and distinctive programming across our Short Film, Community Screenings, and Out of the Box strands. Working under the guidance of the Head of Program and Partnerships and the festival’s Film Committee, the Program Coordinator helps shape meaningful film experiences for audiences across Western Australia.
As a core member of the CinefestOZ Programming Team, the Program Coordinator will engage with filmmakers, partners, and stakeholders; review film submissions; and coordinate guest attendance for short film events.
The role also involves hands-on technical delivery, including touring to regional areas and setting up screening equipment. Experience with DCP creation, projection, and technical troubleshooting will be highly regarded.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude and the ability to prioritise and multitask under pressure. They will have excellent communication skills and must have the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders from the film and arts industries with a strong understanding of the screen industry. Past experience in program development and/or dynamic festival roles will be highly regarded.
This is a fixed term 12-month (with possible permanency) 2 day a week part-time role. CinefestOZ has an office in Busselton with a fixed fortnightly team meeting and Tuesday pivot days. Hybrid working arrangements are welcome including working spilt days and from home regularly. The successful applicant will be required to travel for certain work activities, with travel costs supported by CinefestOZ.
