A guest of CinefestOZ this year is Adam Elliot, an Australian stop-motion animation filmmaker based in Melbourne, Australia. Joining us to celebrate the WA premiere of MEMOIR OF A SNAIL. His films, both shorts and a feature, have collectively participated in over seven hundred film festivals and have received over one hundred awards, including an Academy Award for Harvie Krumpet. Jackie Van Beek, an all-round NZ talent, stars in AUDREY, an Aussie dark comedy portraying a former soap star whose career and life have been derailed. She stars in Nude Tuesday as Laura, hilariously trying to mend her marriages sex life, and as desperate vampire familiar in What we do in the Shadows.
