The countdown is officially on! The CinefestOZ 2026 Festival Program has landed, unveiling more than 100 incredible Australian films, unforgettable events and nine days of cinema, creativity and celebration across Western Australia’s spectacular South West.
From 28 August to 6 September, Busselton, Margaret River, Bunbury and surrounds will once again roll out the red carpet as filmmakers, actors, industry leaders and film lovers from across Australia come together for the nation’s largest celebration dedicated exclusively to Australian screen stories.

This year’s program takes audiences on a journey across some of Australia’s most remarkable landscapes, with stories inspired by communities from coast to country, desert to alpine regions.
