A collection of new and never before seen David Bromley art will be shown at Margaret River HEART from Tuesday 29 August to Sunday 3 September, a special addition to the 2023 CinefestOZ event offering, presented by Gullotti Galleries Cottesloe.
In exciting news for both film and art lovers, Bromley: Light After Dark by filmmakers Sean McDonald, will have its world premiere in Busselton on Thursday 31 August at CinefestOZ- one of four Australian titles in the running for the coveted $100,000 Film Prize Award.
The documentary is a rousing exploration of life, love and creativity. David Bromley was a lost soul, until he found that art appeased the voices in his head and helped him rediscover beauty in the world. With intimate access to this prominent Australian artist, including interviews with his wife Yuge, friends, critics and musicians, this is a love story for the ages. David himself says “art saved my life”. But that’s just the beginning of this story.
The pop up exhibition will be a taster for a major Bromley exhibition at Gullotti Galleries Cottesloe commencing on Wednesday 6 September.
