CinefestOZ announces sensational line-up for 2024 film festival! View, download and browse the official 2024 CinefestOZ program with film premieres, film lunches, general screenings, art exhibitions, installations, free community events and so much more!

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples should be aware that this program and website may contain images or names of people who have passed away.

Now released, the 2024 Program of films and events includes more than 80 feature, documentary and short films, and has a raft of visiting talent.

CinefestOZ CEO Cassandra Jordan said she was delighted at the calibre of talent and fresh new stories and films from Australia, as well as France and New Zealand, at this year’s extended nine-day event.

“At this year’s festival you will find a feast of drama, comedy and feel-good family films as well as horror, sci-fi and thought-provoking and inspirational real-life stories.

What I love about CinefestOZ is that in addition to seeing some of the best new films first, you also can hear from and meet visiting filmmakers outside the cinema while visiting wineries, breweries, restaurants, and galleries.

Alongside the film program, festivalgoers will also have the opportunity to experience our rich Indigenous culture as part of Deadly Day; young filmmakers of the future in the Cinesnaps school program and our flourishing screen industry with a dedicated Industry Program.”
