Scott BrowneVice President Human ResourcesScott was appointed Vice President for Rio Tinto’s Iron Ore business in March 2019. Scott has worked in the mining and resources sector for more than 20 years and has held a number of senior HR roles during his 15 years with Rio Tinto.Scott was most recently the Head of People Services at Rio Tinto which he has held since December 2017. In this role, Scott was responsible for the delivery of essential Human Resources services to the business, with teams covering HR advisory, people analytics, global mobility, talent acquisition and recruitment, employee relations, employee remuneration and performance. The People Services team also provides services that enable the HR function through the provision of HR technology, vendor management, HR and project planning and knowledge management.
