Megan Palinkas
WRITER / PRODUCER
Megan Palinkas hails from Fremantle, Western Australia. Before becoming a screenwriter, she sampled a sushi train of professions from music teacher to outback bartender.
Megan was a key creative on the Fremantle/Netflix reboot of HEARTBREAK HIGH, developing, writing and script producing the Emmy Award winning first season. She continued to write on Season 2 before stepping up to the role of Co-Executive Producer on the third and final season of the show, currently in post-production.
Megan began her career as a writer and script editor on Australia’s iconic serial drama, NEIGHBOURS and has since worked extensively in development and production on a number of shows including the critically acclaimed drama series THE HEIGHTS (Matchbox Pictures/ABC).
Megan has earned multiple AWGIE Award nominations for episodes she penned of The Heights (Matchbox Pictures/ABC) and Heartbreak High.
Currently, she is the Script Producer and Co-Executive Producer of RECKLESS, a 4 part drama series for BBC Studios/SBS/NITV.
