Nicholas Clifford
Director
Nicholas Clifford is an award-winning writer and director from Australia. His feature film One More Shot, a co-production between Truce Films and Good Thing Productions, in association with Protagonist, Madman Entertainment, MIFF and Stan and will had its world Premiere at SXSW.
His feature screenplay Moonshot has received development funding from Vic Screen, and Screen Australia and was winner of the 2023 AACTA Screenworks Regional Landscapes pitch competition. Nicholas was setup director and co-writer of the AACTA-nominated web series Monologue (2023).
Nicholas won the AWG Monte Miller aware for his short screenplay The Handyman (2018), which had its world premiere at Cairo International and went on to screen at over fifty festivals, winning numerous awards and selling to Canal+. Nicholas’ feature screenplay BELLA & THE BEAR won the StoryPros feature film Grand Prix (2017). A graduate of the Australian Film Television & Radio School in Sydney, a Tropfest winner and Co-Founder of Truce Production.co, Nicholas works as a narrative and commercial director.
