Florence is an actor and director, with a gift for finding the funny. She starred in the award-winning New Zealand series The Jaquie Brown Diaries and the Emmy Award-winning ABC Australia series #7DaysLater.
 
Critics described her performance as Lyra in Michael Duignan’s sci-fi comedy The Paragon (2023) as “wonderfully deadpan” and “psychic comedy perfection.” The film premiered at Rotterdam, secured U.S. distribution, and was featured by The New York Times.
 
Florence is a lead in the dark comedy Yesterday Island (2025), which picked up the Audience Award for Best Comedy at the Austin Film Festival and the Critics Award at BIFFF.
