David Vincent Smith is an award-winning Western Australian writer and director. His debut feature film, HE AIN’T HEAVY, starring real mother-daughter pair Greta Scacchi and Leila George alongside Sam Corlett, premiered at Sydney Film Festival. The screenplay was developed with script editor Lynne Vincent McCarthy (THE NIGHTINGALE, RELIC) and is executive produced by Kristina Ceyton (TALK TO ME, THE NIGHTINGALE, THE BABADOOK).
