Mara is an Australian filmmaker. She started acting at age nine when her mum won drama lessons in a raffle.
In 2017, Mara co-wrote and starred in The Tingle Test, which premiered at CinefestOz and played at Melbourne Queer, Mardi Gras and other film festivals.
Mara is a passionate actor’s director and is drawn to Indigenous culture, the environment, and stories about women. She has a TV series and multiple films in development.
Andamooka is her debut feature.
