Margaret Simpson-Lee has been an active member of Bondi Icebergs Club for nearly 20 years. Even during her two pregnancies she was there. Her boys have spent a big part of their young life at the pool and now swim with the ice-cubes. Marg loves every aspect of the Club – especially the swimming pool. Swimming is her passion. She swims literally every day of the year, in sunshine or in rain. She has regularly represented the Club at The Australian Winter Swimming Championships and has won medals each time. Marg has been awarded Female Swimmer of the Year at the Club, and the fastest in her age group several times. Margie is at the Club most mornings; the Icebergs community is her second family (and sometimes her first!).
