Melanie Maclou, a practicing public artist since 2008, is known for her vibrant sculptures showcased in Western Australia and internationally. Her work beautifully contrasts feminine concepts, organic and delicate forms with large-scale, masculine, and industrial steel, aluminium, and concrete. This interplay between two worlds results in stunning, nature-inspired giant flora and fauna. Melanie’s mission is to evoke a sense of wonder and awe for nature, encouraging others to become custodians of our land.
